At Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Services of Saratoga County we believe relationships
should be safe. No-one should be oppressed by or afraid of someone they love.
To that end, we work with communities to become intolerant of relationship violence and
oppression.
To that end, we can help someone escape relationship violence and re-start their life.

$10,000 makes available 24/7 crisis intervention including hotline, shelter and
hospital response for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
$5,000 provides financial literacy and employment assistance through Project Hope and
Power. We ‘graduate’ 45 women each year.
$2,500 teaches skills for internet safety, healthy relationships, and dealing with bullying
to 50 youth. In 2010, we reached 6,500 teens.
$1,000 makes people aware of our services so victims can get help.
$750 pays for a security deposit so a family can restart their lives free from fear. We
help 60 families find new homes each year.
$500 keeps pets from being abused and allows their families to get to safety through
our Safe Pet Partnership.
$200 provides childcare until a domestic violence victim gets their first paycheck.
$50 pays for prescription medication the victim had to leave behind.
$25 helps a family that has just left abuse with basic needs: food, diapers, and clothing.
